Dr. Amira McMurray

Dr Amira McMurray, consults as a family General Practitioner on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. She graduated from Otago Medical School in 1997 and worked as a house surgeon in Auckland and Wellington hospitals and as a GP in Auckland, the Bay of Islands and on the Hibiscus Coast since 2008. Dr McMurray is a Fellow of the Royal NZ College of General Practitioners, and has a Diploma in Paediatrics. She also has a special interest in palliative care and also worked part-time in Hospice. 

Amira is married with four children and enjoys being involved in the community. She sees it as a privilege to help people on their life journey and loves being a family GP.
